Who: S&S Diversified is a small, flexible, design and fabrication house formed in 1995. Pooling the talents of experienced Engineers, all who enjoy part ownership, we provide traditional concept development an prototype realization -- in an aggressive, effective, non-traditional fashion. S&S employs ONLY real, experienced, degreed engineers. Not simply fancy titles, our Engineers have extensive design and problem-solving backgrounds. That's serious, "hands-on" experience, gained from such companies and organizations such as IBM, Caterpillar, BMW, Federal-Mogul, SAE, Ringfeder, and SCCA. We couple diverse a knowledge base with an unheard-of level of customer support. We get paid not so much for our ideas, but for our service: cradle-to-grave, idea-to-delivery.
What: There isn't much work that S&S will turn down. While we don't build aircraft, and are not liscensed to construct bridges, S&S is willing and able to tackle a wide variety of small to medium-size design jobs. From machines that wind guitar strings, stainless steel laboratory equipment for inhalation toxicology, fabrications for motorsports, and working demos for inventors -- S&S is versitile and flexible. In addition, S&S can do many prototype fabrications in-house, or rely on its extensive network of quality suppliers to provide short or medium-run production. Where:S&S Diversified primarily caters to customers in the Northeastern U.S. Situated nearly on the border or New York and New Jersey, we have a large volume of industrial and technical companies to solicit for business.Would S&S take a job from California? Absolutely. While we prefer the convenience of constant, face-to-face, support and interfacing with our customers, the internet and other communications technology makes a long-distance business relationship feasible.
